The Rich Foundation announces $100,000 donation to the Boys & Girls Club of Stamford.  Former board member and past President, Thomas L. Rich said, “given our long association with the Club where the main building has for many years been called the Mary C. Rich Clubhouse, after my grandmother, we wanted to contribute to the spectacular new facility being completed.”  The new addition will take the Club to an entirely new level in terms of its physical plant and its ability to serve more area youth.  There will be two rooms named for the Rich Family in the new facility.

Established in 1927, and where in conjunction with taking over Stamford’s Yerwood Center, together the facilities serve more than 1,600 area youth with a variety of programs including Be Great Mentoring, Technology for All, Smart Moves and Smart Girls, and the Keystone and Torch Leadership clubs.
