Recently acquired, this Downtown Stamford, CT commercial property, formerly Stamford Trust Co. and then Union Trust Co., with attached 147-space garage, is comprised of the original 1928 structure (right side) and the 1983 addition (left side). This planned and approved adaptive reuse project is a combination of historic preservation, including of the exterior and grand double height bank lobby with intact vault doors, and a full interior conversion of office spaces into a 149-room Curio by Hilton hotel. The future hotel will highlight the historic features of this property while providing the most in-demand hotel amenities, including a proposed rooftop pool. Anticipated completion Summer 2027.
